"We lost contact with USG Orchid last week. We're not sure what happened to the crew, but hopefully, they're all safe as the unique specimen they found should be pretty valuable."
USG Orchid is an exploration and research vessel that travels through space looking for minerals, fauna, flora, and other materials that are still unknown to the Civilization. The studies carried out by these vessels could potentially improve or originate new technologies in order to preserve human sovereignty over the entire galaxy. Last week USG Orchid found a specimen that no one has ever seen before, and studying its origins may prove to be invaluable to science as it is currently known.
This is a project created for RTFKT community art contest! Work presented in Unreal Engine 5 and the entire environment had to be textured with unique textures due to OnCyber's platform technical limitations, so you may see some low res textures here and there unfortunately 😅
